Recently, SCIYON successfully won the bid for the distributed control system and intelligent power generation platform project of 2 600MW 9H class gas-steam combined cycle cogeneration project of Guangdong Yudian Daya Bay Integrated Energy Co., LTD.
This is another major breakthrough for SCIYON to work with Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd. to achieve the national DCS system NT6000 in the gas-steam combined cycle unit control system after Huadu, Yong 'an and Marina Bay projects. In addition, prior to this, SCIYON had won the bid for the smart site project of the project, providing it with comprehensive intelligent management and control during the infrastructure period.
Guangdong Yuedian Daya Bay Integrated Energy Station is located in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, planning to build 4×600MW gas-steam combined cycle cogeneration unit, the current construction of 2×600MW (H class) gas-steam combined cycle cogeneration unit, is the first integrated comprehensive energy demonstration base with hydrogen energy utilization. After the completion of the project, the annual power generation will be about 4.7 billion KWH and the heating capacity will be 11.12 million GW, which will effectively improve the power support capacity of Huizhou, meet the heat load demand of the western part of the Daya Bay petrochemical area, and absorb the flammable hydrogen tail gas generated by major projects around the area, improve the comprehensive utilization rate of energy, and explore a new model of comprehensive energy supply leading the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
All DCS of the energy station are equipped with NT6000 intelligent control system and fieldbus. At the same time, the unified processing platform of real-time production data is deployed to realize the automatic control of the whole process of the whole range, and help the safe and efficient operation of the energy station.

Fieldbus system
The field bus control system architecture is highly decentralized, the field control equipment adopts full digital communication, with strong data processing, state analysis and fault self-diagnosis functions, the system can diagnose the operating status of the equipment at any time. Greatly improve the integration and intelligence of field equipment, laying a good foundation for the implementation of digital power plant.
Intelligent power generation platform
On the basis of the conventional DCS system to realize the integrated centralized monitoring of the whole plant's machinery, electricity, furnace and public and auxiliary systems, the project deployable a unified processing platform for real-time production data, including five intelligent modules of "intelligent analysis", "intelligent control", "intelligent operation", "intelligent alarm" and "intelligent monitoring panel" to form an intelligent power generation platform to realize the full range of the whole process control. Improve the level of automation control of the unit and greatly reduce the amount of operation of the operator.
APS&FCB
The gas-steam combined cycle generator set has the characteristics of high efficiency and environmental protection, and its quick start-stop ability has outstanding advantages for the peak regulation of the power grid and natural gas pipeline network. This project is also equipped with APS (power plant automatic start-stop control system) and FCB (unit quick load rejection to plant electricity) two major functions, APS can minimize the unit start-stop time, timely response to the power grid or natural gas network load scheduling. When the power grid has a power outage accident, FCB can "ensure the power supply", shorten the power grid accident time, reduce the operating cost plays an important role, and the social benefits are significant.
Smart construction site: to help the comprehensive intelligent management and control of infrastructure construction
In view of the complex site environment and many safety risks during the construction period of the power plant, SCIYON makes full use of new technologies such as the Internet, artificial intelligence and intelligent AI to explore and successfully practice the construction site during the construction period. In the construction period of Guangdong Yuedian Daya Bay Comprehensive Energy Station, the smart site management and control system has been successfully developed, implemented and put into operation, empowering the traditional power construction management. To build a set of solid "Great Wall of safety" for the safety management of the construction site during the infrastructure period.
Over the years, SCIYON has been committed to the application of gas turbine intelligent control breakthroughs. In 2016, the company set up two 475MW gassteam combined cycle units in Jiangsu Guoxin Huaian No. 2 Gas Power Generation Company, achieving the first breakthrough in the application of domestic DCS in 9F gas turbine units. In 2021, three 700MW gas-steam combined cycle units in Yudian Marina Bay achieved the first breakthrough of 9H gas turbine.
